Overview
Harry Ramsden’s is celebrating National Fish & Chip Day with a five-day giveaway running from Monday 1st June to Friday 5th June 2026.
A different prize will be available to win each day, including two separate “Free Fish & Chips for a Year” prizes—one via social media and one via Loyalty Club participation.
Prizes
- Day 1 (Mon): Harry Ramsden’s £100 voucher
- Day 2 (Tue): Harry Ramsden’s £50 voucher & merch
- Day 3 (Wed): Stay for two in an Executive King Sea View Room at The Grand Brighton, plus dining for two at Harry Ramsden’s Brighton
- Day 4 (Thu): Ferry trip for two with DFDS & a Harry Ramsden’s meal onboard
- Day 5 (Fri – Social Prize): Free fish & chips for a year at Harry Ramsden’s
- Loyalty Prize (Separate): Free fish & chips for a year at Harry Ramsden’s (for Loyalty Club members)
How to Enter (Social Media Giveaway)
To enter each daily prize draw on Instagram:
- Follow @harryramsdensuk (and collaborator account where applicable)
- Like the competition post
- Tag the person you would share the prize with in the comments
- Share the post to your Stories for an additional entry (optional)
Competition closes at 23:59 on 8th June 2026. The Day 5 “Free Fish & Chips for a Year” social prize will be awarded from eligible social media entries only.
In-Restaurant Entry Mechanic
Customers can also take part during the campaign week:
- Visit a participating Harry Ramsden’s restaurant between 1st–5th June 2026
- Upload a photo from your visit to Instagram (e.g. your “Perfect Chip”)
- Tag @harryramsdensuk
10 entrants will be selected at random to receive Harry Ramsden’s merchandise. Entries must be posted from a public Instagram account so they can be viewed by Harry Ramsden’s. Entrants must be UK residents aged 18 or over.
Loyalty Club Entry Mechanic (Separate Prize)
- Loyalty Club Members will receive double points on all purchases during the campaign period
- Each qualifying transaction made between 1st–5th June 2026 counts as one entry into a separate prize draw to win Free Fish & Chips for a Year
This Loyalty Club prize draw is separate from the social media competition and will result in a second winner.
Winner Selection & Notification
- One winner will be selected per prize day at random
- One additional winner will be selected from Loyalty Club entries for the separate annual prize
- Winners will be contacted within 5 days of each closing date
- If a winner does not respond within 48 hours, another winner may be selected
Key Prize Terms
General
- Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative is available
- Harry Ramsden’s reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary
The Grand Brighton (Day 3)
- Must be 18+ to enter
- Prize valid until 8 June 2027
- Blackout dates apply
- The prize does not include travel to or from the specified location.
DFDS Prize (Day 4)
- Return crossing for up to two passengers in a standard car
- Includes Premium Lounge entry and Priority Boarding
- Travel valid until 31 December 2026, subject to availability
- DFDS standard terms apply
- The prize does not include travel to or from the specified location.
Free Fish & Chips for a Year (Both Prizes)
- Two prizes available (one via social media, one via Loyalty Club)
- Defined as one free standard fish & chips meal per week for 52 weeks
- Full redemption details will be provided to winners
General Conditions
- Open to UK residents aged 18+ only
- Employees of Harry Ramsden’s and its partners are not eligible
- Entries must be genuine; automated or bulk entries will be disqualified
- By entering, participants agree to the use of their name and social handle for promotional purposes
